Cape Produce Company was established, 90 years ago, as a Hides and Skins trading company in South Africa. As a family owned business that prides itself on growth and innovation; Cape Produce Company (CPC) has evolved into the largest hide and skin tannery in Southern Africa.

Purchasing the finest Cattle Hides and Sheep Skins from across South Africa and surrounding countries; the company currently employs more than 400 people at its premises in both Port Elizabeth and Cape Town. Through continued investment in both people and technology the business is able to meet the needs of both its suppliers and customers in a changing global industry.

Cape Produce Company currently handles approx. 1,200,000 cattle hides and 3,000,000 sheepskins per annum.
